High ceilings and a real chair
The wingback by the mirror is the seat to ask for. They poured a small cognac and left me with a Connecticut that lasted the conversation. No television.

BYOB before seven
I brought a bottle on a Tuesday and they had the glass and the ice. The humidor singles were fresh. Society Street is quiet enough at that hour.
