Chairs built for staying
The leather chairs have enough space that your neighbor’s smoke isn’t your smoke. They keep the humidor at a sensible humidity. I bought a five-pack on the way out.

Nobody raised their voice
Snow on Armitage, lamp on inside, and the room actually stayed quiet. I read twenty pages and smoked a short habano. The pour was a simple bourbon, correctly small.

A winter afternoon seat
I came in from the cold and they had the chair by the window. One coffee, one mild stick, and the street stayed gray and interesting. I’ll use it again between meetings.
